Subprocessors

Last updated: September 2026

To be completed before launch. This list must name the actual providers once the production deployment is decided — infrastructure, managed databases, email delivery and payments. An incomplete subprocessor list is a compliance failure, and it is the first page an enterprise buyer's legal team opens.

What goes here

Each entry needs the provider's name, what it does for us, what categories of data it touches, and where it processes them.

  • Cloud infrastructure — compute and storage for the application and warehouse.
  • Managed data services — the control-plane database, the event queue and the analytics warehouse, where these are operated by a third party.
  • Email delivery — transactional messages such as invitations, alerts and scheduled reports.
  • Payments — subscription billing; card details never reach Tangent's servers.
  • AI model provider — on the Tangent-hosted tier only. Receives your schema and question, never your raw events. Customers on bring-your-own tiers use their own provider and this entry does not apply to them.
