The agreement
These terms cover use of Tangent, provided by Selicatech. Using the service means accepting them.
Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your API keys and user accounts.
- Keep credentials secret, and tell us promptly if one is exposed.
- You must have the right to send us the data you send, and to have it processed here.
Acceptable use
Do not use Tangent to track people unlawfully, to collect special category data without a lawful basis, to attack the service or probe other customers' data, or to resell it as your own without a written agreement.
Your data
Your data stays yours. We claim no ownership of the events you send. We process them to provide the service, and you may export them at any time. On termination you can export for a defined window, after which we delete.
Availability
We work to keep Tangent available and will tell you about incidents. We do not currently publish an uptime SLA — we will not promise a number we cannot yet demonstrate over a meaningful period. Enterprise agreements may include specific commitments.
Billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance for the period; usage-based charges in arrears.
- Exceeding a plan limit does not stop collection — you are told and asked to move plan.
- Cancel at any time; the service runs to the end of the paid period.
Liability
The service is provided as-is to the extent the law allows. Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding twelve months. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, or anything else the law does not permit to be limited.
Changes and termination
Material changes to these terms will be notified in advance. Either party may terminate with notice; we will give you a reasonable window to export your data first.
Governing law
To be completed on legal review — jurisdiction depends on where Selicatech is incorporated and where customers are located.
