Home / Product / Analytics
The questions you actually ask, answered on one stream.
Most teams end up with an analytics tool, a replay tool, a flagging tool and a spreadsheet that disagrees with all three. Tangent runs every analysis below on the same events, so a segment you define in a funnel is the same segment in a retention grid.
Funnels
Where people stop, and who they were.
Define the steps in any order, over any window, and break the result down by anything you send — plan, platform, release, campaign. Conversion between two steps is computed on the same users, not on two separate counts that happen to sit next to each other.
When a step drops, the segments responsible are one click away rather than a separate investigation.

Retention
Who comes back, and who quietly stops.
Cohort people by when they arrived or by the first thing they did, then watch the curve flatten — or fail to. Retention is measured against a real action you choose, not against "opened the app", which flatters every product ever built.
Compare two cohorts directly to see whether a change actually moved the curve, or only moved the first week.
Flattening at 43% from week four — the curve has found its floor.
Paths
The routes people take, including the ones you did not design.
Start from any event and follow what happens next, forwards or backwards. Paths are where you find the loop nobody intended, the dead end that sends people to support, and the shortcut power users discovered before you did.
Segments & cohorts
Define a group once. Use it everywhere.
A segment is behaviour, properties, or both — "signed up this month, on mobile, has not invited anyone". Every chart accepts it, the AI can use it in a question, and it stays in sync as people enter and leave.
Accounts & revenue
B2B analysis, and money attached to behaviour.
Roll individual users up into the company, workspace or team they belong to, so you can ask which accounts are at risk rather than which people. Revenue is a first-class measure, attached to the events that earned it — not a number pasted in from billing.
